WAR TIME PRESIDENT

This photo was taken in Tibet at 5190 meters altitude. The sacred lake was the Namtso lake said to be the highest freshwater lake in the world.At 17,000 feet  confusion and lack of concentration  reigns. However an incident there reminds me of the fake and late preparedness of our war time President.

The Chinese have been desperate to get rid of the Dalai Lama . This lake is a pilgrimage stop because of a Holy Man Buddhist that visited it 1000 years ago. Villagers journey there by prostrate each step that can take a year. Next to the lake is a thick stone embedded in the bank with two handprints carved in by the millions of hands that wanted to touch where the Holy Man prayed first. Near the lake is a cave wherein  a shrine  bedecked by multi -colored  flags where the Holy man lived during his visit.

After the Dalai Lama he is supposed to have deputies that are also reincarnated. However , the Chinese government co-opted these men after their invasion. One of these fake "Bishops" was brought there  ,by the government ,so the pilgrims  could be blessed. My group watched this , however the line reached much further than the BLESSER, felt like working. He did it for a few hours but decided to knock off and leave and go back from whence he came , leaving the pilgrims who had sacrificed for over a year. Noblesse Oblige.

I couldn't help thinking about our self named War Time President as the same  as these fake Bishops. He says we are at war and it'll last 18 months. I can just hear why change horses in mid-stream. He's a war time President not like Lincoln, Wilson , or FDR. He is more like Buchanan or Chamberlain, no foresight and totally unprepared.
